HarborOne Bank Announces Team at First Boston Branch

(Boston, MA) – November 4, 2019 – HarborOne Bank announced today it will open it’s first branch office in Boston on November 4, 2019. The branch – opening at 64 Broad Street – will be staffed by a seasoned team of banking professionals serving retail, small business and commercial banking customers. The team will include Carl W. Brockmann II, Branch Manager; Dara Delaney, Vice President Relationship Development Manager; Khaled Khalil, Vice President Commercial Lending Officer; and Charles F. Zanazzi, Professional Service Market Lead.

Brockmann has been in the banking industry for almost ten years. Prior to joining HarborOne, Brockmann served as Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager at Santander Bank where he achieved operational and sales excellence for three branch locations within the South Shore district and was responsible for the multi-management of two high volume branches with direct oversight of over 20 bankers. He also served as the Certified Branch Manager trainer responsible for the on-boarding of new hire Branch Managers.

Delany has been in the banking industry for over ten years. Prior to joining HarborOne, Delaney served as Branch Manager at Century Bank where she managed sales and operations, advised and consulted in executive committees for business and sales improvement, and focused on deepening and maintaining high value customer and business relationships.

Khalil most recently was based in HarborOne’s loan production office in Boston where he focused on providing a range of solutions including credit, deposit services, trade and cash management products to help clients grow and better manage their business. Prior to joining HarborOne Bank, Khalil served as Vice President and Relationship Manager at Santander Bank. During this time Khalil was responsible for new business development, portfolio management, credit quality and overall relationship management of a portfolio of customers with revenues between $3MM and $50MM. He also maintained strong relationships with centers of influence, diverse industry segments and community leaders.

Prior to joining the Boston office, Zanazzi lead HarborOne’s commercial development growth in the Merrimack Valley and Southern N.H. region. Before joining HarborOne, Zanazzi worked in the Boston and Merrimack Valley markets for TD Wealth Management providing investment management and planning for business owners while coordinating the commercial banking needs of their companies. Zanazzi’s career also includes commercial lending experience with Sovereign/First Essex Bank and BankBoston as well as general auditing work with Deloitte, Haskins, and Sells.

The historic 64 Broad Street space is attached to 20 Custom House Street, which already houses a HarborOne Bank Loan Production Office. The Boston branch will feature comprehensive retail and consumer banking services, a full suite of small business and commercial banking products and services, and an array of credit and lending products for both commercial and personal banking needs.
