Millionaire Mindset

15-20 years of age

HarborOne U developed a fun and interactive curriculum utilizing the game-based learning platform, Kahoot! to engage students as we dive into the concepts of saving, budgeting and credit. This 1-hour program is designed for groups of 15-200 and can be delivered in person or virtually. Students will need access to a Smartphone, laptop or tablet to participate in the Kahoot!  For virtual presentations, it is ideal for students to use two devices, one for the Zoom and a second for the Kahoot!

FitMoney Certificate

FitMoney Certificate

15-20 years of age

This online curriculum equips young people with important information from analyzing paychecks and budgeting to understanding credit scores, credit cards and student loans. The FitMoney course consists of five modules and twelve short videos which can be completed independently. Upon completion, students who score a 80% or higher will receive their Financially Fit certification to apply to future applications, job opportunities, and profiles. Fit Money is free and HarborOne’s Organization code is 98422.

Credit for Life

Credit for Life

15-20 years of age

Credit for Life empowers students to take responsibility for their financial future. They learn the real-life budgeting and money management skills they will use throughout their lifetime. Students choose a profession, are assigned monthly take-home salaries and navigate 10 checkpoints to make "purchases" utilizing imaginary cash, credit or savings. The goal? To learn to live within a budget. This program can be done in a classroom or larger school event. HarborOne’s School Access Code is 283135.

 Minute to Spend It

Minute to Spend It

11-14 years of age

A fun, interactive budgeting activity for middle school students. Students receive play money to spend at the Mall.  They will not have enough money to buy everything they want, so they will need to prioritize their spending. The presentation includes a budgeting video and concludes with a game. One 45-minute session.

Savings Makes

Savings Makes "Cents"

7-10 years of age

Students will learn about the origins of money, bartering, the importance of saving and how to budget through activities, videos and games. We will discuss ways in which youth can earn money, the difference between needs and wants and saving for short-term and long-term goals. One 45-minute session.

Piggy Bankers

Piggy Bankers

3-6 years of age

Piggy Bankers teaches children about earning, spending and saving money. The program may be delivered in three 30-minute sessions and each consists of a story and activity. Ox-Cart Man by Donald Hall, Just Shopping with Mom by Mercer Mayer & The Berenstain Bear's Trouble with Money by Stan and Jan Berenstain.
